When I drew this, I had this weird feeling that I already had drawn this image before. It took me about a minute to do the rough pencil and few more minutes for the inks. I think this was the fastest one so far. The Arch Nemesis of the Fantastic Four—Doctor
Doom.
Real Name: Edward E. Nigma
Alias: The Riddler
Thor's Enchantress with scowl
Arch-villain Doctor Octopus from the pages of Spider-Man.
I think I made him look a bit more mature than he is usually rendered in The Legion Of Super Heroes
…Mr. Grinch!
Robin—the frog wonder
Michigan J. Frog from the classic Looney Tunes short One Froggy Evening—directed by the great Chuck Jones. One of my absolute favorites. Unfortunate that the WB used him as their mascot.
A.K.A. Alan Scott. The original incarnation of the Green Lantern was more of a magical/mystical super hero rather than the intergalactic police agent of the modern age. Rendered here with plenty of Jarlsberg.
I guess the name of the green enemy of Q*bert was Sam (I had to do some research on this one).
When Super Mario Bros. 3 came out, it changed everything—especially the blisters on my thumbs.
Why, with a joystick of course. Frogger being one of many games that I spent playing for hours and hours…
Number Munchers was brilliant! I wonder if kids today still play this or even some comparable form of edutainment?
This here be Link from the Legend of Zelda video game franchise. The many hours of my youth spent in his shoes—priceless.
Much of my youthful vitality and zest could have been attributed this bad boy: The ice-cold, 32 oz. bucket of bliss (aka: The Diabeticator).
I watched this movie again recently and was completely entertained. The main characters all had completely different colored spacesuits. This is the green suited astronaut.
The man-eating plant from Little Shop of Horrors—Audrey II.
I was once tricked into seeing the Care Bears movie at the wee age of 5. The plan was to go and see the re-release of The Return of the Jedi with my best friend and his brother. However, when we got to the theatre his mother purchased tickets for the Care Bears instead. In her opinion, we had already seen "too much Star Wars". Of course the theatre was packed with sugared-up kids and the only seats available were in the front row. I am thankful for the cultural experience but I have been looking ever since for ways to get those 2 hours of my life back.
Also known as billionaire Oliver Queen of Star City. A bit of a Robin Hood character.
So is he Turkish or Toydarian? Is any case, Jedi mind tricks don'ta work ona Watto—only money.
If anyone can shed some light on this—greatly appreciated. They had quite a following in the mid 80's and as far as I can tell are not related to the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
Spiderman's Arch-nemesis Green Goblin.
The Green Hornet seeks vengeance.
