The Red Shirt

The away-team on Star Trek: TOL was always suspect. There was Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy and some guy in a red shirt. It was this guy who was always first to find the mysterious creature and meet his ultimate demise. This is my tribute to the red shirt guys. Short lived and not prosperous.

In the Star Wars universe all lightsaber blades have a specific color that originates from the type of crystal that powers it. For the Sith it is always red.

Cliffjumper has yet to make a film debut in the Transformers, but was always one of my favorite characters in the cartoon series. He was voiced by Casey Kasem. He was also one of the only Transformer toys I had as a kid.

Feyd Rautha, nephew of the Baron Harkonnen from DUNE—he too had red hair. Played by Sting in the 1984 David Lynch film DUNE.

A Beast Harkonnen

Glossu "The Beast" Rabban, nephew to the Baron Harhonnen and older brother to Feyd Rautha from DUNE—Earned the nickname from killing his own father. He had red hair.

Green isn't skin deep

In this case green can be seen as the color of Vulcan blood. Here's my attempt at Spock. Not really Leonard Nimoy or even Zachary Quinto—strictly from the mind.
