Everybody Loves Elmo
When I thought about red characters, he was the fist one that popped into my head. I used to think he was super annoying until I saw how much my nephew loved him.

Hot Blooded
This is Magma Man from the Saga of Crystar: The Crystal Warriors. He was the only action figure I had from the short lived series.

Up-chuck
Not the best—but it counts right? He is red. Officially the worst drawing that I've done for this blog—officially. What do you expect? Lost was on and so was that Ancient Aliens show. Too much TV and not enough drawing. I'll put the extra effort in tomorrow—officially.

The Death of Superman
I was 13 years old when DC decided to kill-off the Man of Steel. I remember the day that issue #75 hit the comic shop shelves. I was home sick from school—an awful cold. My Father came home from work and had the newspaper with him. The entertainment section had a cover page write-up, headline read: "Edina Man Kills Superman". They advetised that the man responsible—Dan Jurgens—would be at the College of Comic Book Knowledge in South Minneapolis signing books. I begged my Dad to take me and being that it was a once in a lifetime experience, he agreed. Needless to say, it wasn't the best idea to go. There was a long line to get in and it happened to rain while we waited. No umbrella. Cold and nursing a cold. I did however get a the issue signed. The book itself isn't worth anything today, but the opportunity to participate in comic book history is quite valuable.

That's right. There's one day out of the year where comic book shops give out special "free" comics. Its kinda like Christmas. So here's the first post of the new quarter—the Flash.
